Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves. Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others.

Good morning Lord Father, thank you for this day. I pray that I will be watchful for the needs of others. If you give me the opportunity to help someone today, let me put aside my own agenda, stop and help them. The things that I have to do today, how important are they if it is not your will that I do them. May I be a vessel of your hope to the world through the things that I choose to do. In your holy and precious name I pray, amen.
